There’s no sidewalk, instead a strip of grass.
A benefit of that is that the strip of grass becomes part of your front lawn.
The downside, I guess, is that there’s no clear demarcation between your front yard and any pedestrian passage.
I’m assuming there’s little pedestrian passage? I’m guessing people who come to use the public pool wouldn’t be parking on Idaho Avenue?
Several years ago, we looked at a house nearby. One thing that concerned me was the state of the edge of the field across the street. It was really overgrown. Public land, so I guess the city is supposed to maintain, but I can’t imagine the edge of a field would be a priority. I’m not very fussy, but I did notice that. Maybe that situation has improved.
