This is what I eat nearly every morning:
-1/3c oatmeal & 2/3 c water in a bowl & microwave for 90 secs.
-when it comes out, I add 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
-I dip my spoon in my no sugar added sunbutter and then use that spoon to stir the oats and protein powder
-I sometimes do splash of unsweetened vanilla almond milk or sugar free creamer to thin it but not always as I prefer my oats thick
-I top with blueberries
I can't stand overnight oats. I find them slimy and the texture is all wrong.
I'll sometimes top with cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice.
I'm diabetic. I also had high LDL the bloodwork before last. I started eating this for breakfast along with at least 1 avocado each day and by my next bloodwork, my LDL was back in range.
