It’s weird for a lot of reasons, including that Hope Hicks and a lot of other Trump people work for McCormick. And he’s going to miss ion a lot of his endorsements, not just this one.

McCormick is the current husband of former Trump WH official Dina Powell and they had reportedly been lobbying Trump heavily for his endorsement.
