OP here: I took the feature removal as a sign of bad things to come, and decided to go out and buy a similar car that already has the power seat adjustment from a different dealer. I am very happy with my purchase; reading articles on how the war is effecting vehicle production, I am glad I didn't wait for my car to be built/come in the next couple of months. I am grateful I was able to find the car I loved already built--I had been keeping my eye out for months (since before I ordered my car) and this is the first one I saw that matched the certain specs I was looking for.

What brand and model was this? Did you have to compromise on color or other features by purchasing an already-built car from the other dealer? How far did you need to travel to get the car?

And I really appreciate everyone's feedback. It was interesting to read your takes, and helped spur me to action. Thank you.
