Also lunchtime is a good time to do a fast-walk around the track.
Oh please, nobody’s jealous. Some of us like working out at the gym. I like using the treadmill and the stair machine and the weights. I don’t have the room to work out at home much less the equipment I like. Original anti-gym PP was needlessly antagonistic.

Go to a gym? I could have worked out by the time I drive somewhere to work out.
Work out at home in the mornings. walk the stairs , yoga, light weights, walk the neighborhood (It's all hills!) -- so so many ways to keep fit without going to a gym. No time for that. I'm a teacher and a mom, after all. Every minute of the day is demanded. Also I might stay after school and take a jog around the neighborhood. It's a great way to wind down before afternoon errands, kids, dinner, etc.
So many different ways to work it all in. I don't sit down during the work day. Maybe that is the key. I don't think I could tolerate a sitting-down career.
Ok, 6 am and worked out; need to start getting ready to go. Leave at 6:30, arrive at school at 7am. My student assisntants will be waiting for me so they can help around the classroom and earn their SSL hours.

OP: When do you find the time to work out, Amanda?
Amanda: I can do a workout before school.

I didn't notice that my phone switched the spelling until after I hit the "Submit" button. Perhaps others also fell victim to autocorrect.![]()

It’s improper to begin a sentence with “therefore.” Now get yourself to the gym for your work out!
