I saw Dr. Pinckert through my pregnancy after stillbirth and I agree, he's a kind, warm, doctor. He worked well with Capital Women's Care. His genetics nurse was lovely, his ultrasound tech was hilarious (in a good way)...my son turns 8 in a few weeks. If I had decided to try again, I would go back to him too.

IME the MFMs aren't going to help much.

Are you seeking answers for why you had a loss? Have you had other prior losses?

I would not start TTC without a full workup by a reproductive immunologist. I see Dr. Jubiz and he does virtual visits.

Besides my experience, a good friend also had back-to-back 20 week losses. Both her and me wish we hadn't listened to advice that what we were experiencing was bad luck.

I had Gallagher three years ago during a second pregnancy after loss (I’m the PP who wished she’d had Pinckert). I found her to be dismissive of my concerns and not particularly attentive (seemed like she hadn’t scanned the chart or talked to the student I’d just spent 5 minutes speaking to). My husband came to one appointment with me (Covid) and observed that Dr Gallagher was pretty condescending to me and treating my pretty standard questions with an heavy dose of “ok crazy lady” attitude, and which I find to be the worst and very common during a pregnancy after loss. But my baby arrived safely. That said - others here have really liked her. I’d send an email to dcpilds.

Agree that it is not good for convenience, but I want to echo the praise for Mt. Sinai. The Rainbow Clinic is headed by Dr. Stone, who is just a fantastic physician and all-around human. I haven't seen her in her capacity with the Rainbow Clinic, but I had other complicated pregnancy issues that I needed to be seen for and went to her. I wouldn't have my kids without her.

They were actually filming a segment about the clinic for a news program during one of my visits last fall. I trust the staff there SO MUCH.
