Are you kidding? You don’t think OP’s 10 pounds may be distributed differently after having 3 kids?
I’m 5’4” and 120 pounds. 5 pounds is one dress size for me. 10 pounds is 2. All my weight goes to my waist and face.

I was going to write this. Unfortunately weight is easier for women to control than sex drive.

+1. This thread makes me sad.

5'7" with a 26" waist is attractive. OP is bored and has some fetish with competing with sis.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Omg good gracious what a sick world we live in. There is nothing wrong with wanting to still be attractive.

What did your husband say? What brought on this insecurity?Anonymous wrote:I have been with my husband for 14 years, married 11 - we have 3 young kids. I realized I haven't put on jeans or button pants in forever since I WFH full time and run around after 3 young kids during the morning/evenings/weekends. I am definitely bigger than when we met (was around 135 when we met and now at 145). Would you prefer a wife who has to seriously restrict their diet, no booze, and works out all the time in order to maintain their weight or would you prefer a wife who has a little bit more weight, works out regularly but just can't shed those last 10 postpartum pounds? I am still at a good pant size (26-27 inch waist) but just don't know if I have it in me to push to lost the last 10 pounds. I really like wine and food.
Op here - I am 5’7” so not short. Husband is doesn’t mind at all I just mind. Probably because I compare myself to my sister who has had 2 kids and weighs 10+ pounds less than me and works out all the time. I just don’t have the will power.
Eyeroll. Your height and weight are fine. Humble brag
+1.

Op here - not a troll. Far from it. And while I can still fit into my clothes they feel snugger when I am 10 pounds heavier.

It makes me think of something Anna Faris said. She said that Chris Pratt was definitely nicer to be around before he got all buff, because later Chris Pratt was grumpier because he was hungry all the time. If my spouse was hungry (and cranky) and couldn't have a drink with me, and couldn't enjoy a great meal with me, and didn't have time for stuff we liked to do together because she was dieting and working out all the time to try to look like she did ten years and three kids ago, that would suck. Ten pounds is a fair price to pay for someone who can actually enjoy life with me.
