When I read the story she wasn't paying anything - she was getting others to pay for her. How is your comment relevant?

Seriously, her hair did not bring her down. Your premise is crap. You can’t prove she doesn’t *look* rich because none of us would know who she was if that were true. Whatever passing for rich looks like, she actually succeeded, so may as well emulate that.
