I am married (STB divorced) to someone whom EVERYONE loves. I know that I am being crucified behind my back for leaving my DH. On the surface, everyone sees someone who is present, consistent, nice, great-to-talk to, charming, who appears to be a great father.

It's what they don't see that's the issue. No one knows the actual dynamic between John Mulaney and Anna/e Marie Tendler. I say this as someone who struggled for years about whether or not to leave my DH. When I shared my private struggle with a few close friends and my therapist, the question that I was asked... "how did you make it that long?"

The only facts that we know are that 1) John Mulaney is an addict, 2) he was in recovery, 3) he divorced his seemingly patient and loving wife, 4) he had a kid with a GF, 5) he is touring again.

No one knows WHY he did (or is doing) any of that.

Ever since John left his wife for Olivia Munn, I have disliked him immensely.
I disagree w/the poster who stated that Pete is unfunny.
Not only is he 200% more hilarious than John > but he is way more easier on the eyes than him.
Yes, he may do crazy stuff but he is young + living his life.
His career is lit now.
I get the feeling that we will all hear great things from him for a very long time.

His delivery is fantastic. That Monkey Judge skit almost certainly wouldn't have worked well with a different host.

They’ve had a version of the churros in the subway sketch every time he has hosted. The first one was lobster in the diner and is one of the best sketches in recent memory IMO. This one was more NYC specific that the others.
