Yeah agreed there are no real studs even at JTCC. The best guy is a high UTR 11. What I’m saying is there are no Tiafoes in the pipeline and better players in Florida and So cal
It’s not even about Tiafor etc
He’s a freak of nature
But the continuous development of high level players (even if they are not pro standard) — this isn’t the area for that
Most of the Virginia Cavaliers tennis players were trained at JTCC.

Can you tell us more about that?
The coach is a pervert
What is he doing to make himself a pervert?

I totally agree with the comment. Ossa is a toxic environment. They teach their players bad sportsmanship towards other players especially while playing during a match . Would not recommend them.
Wow you’re calling out a kid here. Tennis is a small community so watch your back
I suggest you watch your back!Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Move South or move to Spain

No, you are. Pp said “players,” not a specific player.

Anonymous wrote:The problem with JSI is that you don't get much coaching. It's basically a bunch of kids thrown together to rally with very little instructions. Their teacher to student ratio is not what is promised.
Also, the difference between the top and bottom groups at JSI is extremely wide. They basically have already picked their top player group of 16 already so if you're joining now, you're stuck on court with a lot of kids waiting in line to play on 4 courts until those kids "graduate" out.
I have seen as many as 31 kids to 4 courts on the lower level. Other times if you're lucky there are less kids. The inconsistency of court time is unacceptable, and the instruction is meager.

Did your son get placed into Champs 2? My kid enjoyed it tremendously and got moved to Champs 1 later.
How long did it take your Champs 2 kid to move to Champs 1? And was the move mid-year?
Less than a year. But there are others who took longer. It depends on how much effort the kid is willing to put in.
How many days a week did your son do in Champs 2 to progress that quickly?
Three days a week plus a weekly private plus many tournaments on the weekend.
Wow. That is a hefty commitment. Do you think the private instructions is relevant to DS's quick success? Meaning 3 days + 1 private versus 4 days + 0 private.
