It doesn’t matter what you think, PP. Using the same towel twice grosses my husband out. There is no right or wrong, just personal preferences for cleanliness. And with two toddlers and two dogs and meals made from scratch, our kitchen floor does need to be washed daily.

If you are living in your house, cook, eat, use bathroom, sleep - you at least have a very basic level of daily level of cleanup needed. Then there are things like, oh I don't know - clean the damn stairwell to the basement because windy days fills it up with dry leaves and trash from God knows where!!

There is definitely enough to do in a bigger home. Add in laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, errands, and probably daily vacuuming (my DH is very clean and vacuums daily). With full time the housekeeper will also be able to take a lunch break.

We had a full time housekeeper growing up who was kept busy all day with two adults and two kids in a 6500 sq ft home.
