Ring Pops taped to the back of simple cards. Nothing for the teachers this year, but normally chocolates.

We sent DIY. It was exhausting for me because only one kid finished them and I ended up making finishing them up for other two. So, never again until the kids can make them on their own. We attached lollipops - no chocolate allowed. Kids wrote out cards for teachers as well but don't think it's necessary.

2nd grader: cards with erasers or pencils (he needed two boxes and chose two different ones) for the kids. He gave one to his teacher with a tiny package of ghiradelli squares (I think it has 2 in it)

5th grader: fun dip valentines for her class. She then handmade cards for her teachers and a handful of very close friends. The teachers also got dove chocolates. (She was really excited about it this year since last year was virtual and next year she'll be in middle school and "too old")

They specifically do not want you to address the cards. You’re only supposed to sign your kid’s name. They want to be able to quickly hand out cards not spend an eternity matching each card to a specific child.

Then they should specify that. My kids’ schools didn’t and my kid thought they were supposed to write everyone’s name so I let them since there was no guidance from the school.

Our K teacher specifically instructed the opposite and stressed that it would be good practice writing the other kids names. This isn't my first rodeo and so my DS ended up just writing his name on all of them. We gave it a go, but the space on the cards for names is so tiny - not worth the tears or stress for him (or me) at this age!
