My magnet kid in public school isn't suffering for wearing nice sweatpants to school. DS sometimes wear jeans, too, but lately, he's been into his looks to impress a girl. Prior to this, it was 100% active wear pants and a hoodie. He doesn't have PJ pants. He wears his shorts to bed.

Your kid is a magnet? That must be tiresome, what with all the stuff sticking to him. Is this him, or a different one?

I have been wfh for like 10 years now, and one of the best things about it is that I can wear whatever I want, not that I had to get really dressed up for work before since I work in the tech field, but still. I love that I can wear whatever I want. I don't wear PJs, but I do sometimes wear sweatpants (like now). Super comfy. I'm glad my kids can do the same.

Good point. If you are going to do a uniform in chicago or anywhere cold...the girls do not have to wear those silly skirts. Pants all around. And why the ties? If the boys have to wear those, the girls should have to have to as well...but honestly...just get rid of these all around.

I graduated from high school in the mid 90's and distinctly remember wearing Skidz pants with Champion t-shirts and sweatshirts.
