Yup this is also my experience. The ones who can’t converse via text are terminally boring in person too in my experience. Do yourself a favour and move on.

There are entire forums and subreddits devoted to guys approaching women on Tinder and trying hard to initiate conversations where the women barely respond. That's because guys try hard to initiate conversations with women they think are hot, and women who are hot don't feel the need to respond. The reason the guys are not responding to you is because they do not think you're hot. Sorry but that's just a fact

Bumble date-stamps the messages, so I don't have to remember anything. However, I did see a woman on Bumble the other day who I first contacted in December 2019, and went on a date in September 2021. She was memorable.

Male here. My GF and I met in person the day after we met online. Excessive back-and-forth texts before meeting in person is not a good way of knowing if there will be any chemistry between you.

I think a lot of people get burned out Online dating. There should be some attempt at the start to have a conversation *if they are interested but I would recommend suggesting a coffee meet up shortly after and not keep the conversation going for days/weeks. I got to the point where I wanted a normal conversation where they made some effort at first, and then I’d wait for them to suggest meeting up (many didn’t) or make the suggestion myself (usually they were taken back by this). I was so tired of wasting hours texting via the app with someone I’d never meet or we would meet and they would be disappointing. A quick coffee date is a good way to weed people out. I had a lot of success in with this strategy. And Bumble is one of my favorite apps. You can also try Hinge but I don’t know if they have incognito option.

I've had much better luck with Hinge, and it's the only app I use.
