Once it's worked through startup costs, it'll cost less than seats in a physical building.
There still needs to be money earmarked for it, which takes money away from the existing budget items. And those items don’t necessarily cost less because there are a few students not in the classroom. Those students are still on the rolls of their existing schools, which means they still get certain services provided by them. It’s not necessarily an overall cost savings for the system, or even a wash.
