Where did you hear that?

It’s definitely an Amazon Fresh.

This one bedroom is listed. In 2021 there was an article that said they would be 1-2.5 million.

Thats a great house. Needs a bit of updating and huge but seems to be well priced. That neighborhood almost has a gated feel if thats your thing. If you want unique character this probably isn't your place though since those houses all were built at the same time and everything is neat and consistent. Smaller lots but looks to be low maintenance with the HOA which is a plus. I personally like the look and feel of the neighborhood though and think it has a lot of potential. A 6k sq ft house that will be less than a 5 minute walk to the train or the grocery store under $2M? You won't find that anywhere.

That neighborhood has a weird feel because they built it all at once and the houses are huge and really close together.

It’s three quarters of a mile from the Beltway.

These condos would be so much better in downtown Bethesda. Or even on Wisconsin. The Chevy Chase location on Connecticut is bad. Busy corridor, nothing there.

Think it will be nice to be near the Purple Line. However, the apartments themselves look odd. Too close to the road, weird cavernous balconies, a variety of facades, and some weird architectural details like columns that appear to be made out of foam and deserve a place on a McMansion Hell equivalent for condos.

Where? Quarry Ridge doesn’t have any amenities walkable in the complex and you have to drive to get anywhere.

My two cents is the area has a lot of potential. Lots of redevelopment going on in that area not just what was mentioned earlier with the Amazon Fresh and eventually redeveloping the Starbucks but all down Manor Road will be redeveloped into new townhomes beginning later this year. If the Purple Line can get built this will be a nice, walkable, transit accessable little area in a sea of single family homes of Chevy Chase. Good value IMO.
