This sounds as if he was semi-hoping that the bathroom would be the only room where he wouldn't be interrupted. And then the incident happen only to confirm that he can't have peace and quiet.

Looks like an accumulated annoyance. Not sure how many people are in the house, but in any case - he needs to chill. You didn't do anything wrong, it's still your home. Ask him to pick up a designated space for an office and don't talk to him 9-5.

I assume you have more than one bathroom in your house. I don't care if it's your master, of someone is in it go use another one. Don't stand around gesturing etc. You are not a toddler so don't act like one.

You can discuss logistics with your husband later and you really need to because you ,op have major boundary issues.

This, although the husband should apologize, too. If I'm on a really important call in a room with a door, that door would be closed. At the very least, I'd immediately give whoever was interrupting me the hand and then explain later.
