It’s if no concern. These positions answer to the AG. Just like with any other type of “at will” position to the AG, the AG gets to clean house and replace with like-minded individuals. The Dems do the same when they take office. Same thing happens at the federal level when a new party comes into power.
It is absolutely a cause for concern. This administration has already shown their willingness to completely overreach, so there is every reason to be concerned that they will try to interfere with Virginia’s public universities in other inappropriate ways, such as trying to dictate course curriculum.

Oh, please. Every incoming administration hires and fires at will. This is nothing new, though of course you twits will be outraged by every decision this administration makes - even though every administration prior has hand-selected their own people. Deal with it.
“The decision had nothing to do with the January 6th committee or their investigations. It is common practice for an incoming administration to appoint new staff that share the philosophical and legal approach of the Attorney General. Every counsel serves at the pleasure of the Attorney General," she said.

Tell me you know nothing about the issues without telling me you know nothing about the issue.
That's pretty funny coming from someone who denies the Atty. General is perfectly within his rights here. No one cares whether you like it or not.
I did not deny it was within his rights. I denied (in other posts) that firing counsel to state universities is in any way a typical part of the transition process for incoming state AGs. These positions are typically held by career professionals and not political appointees, so firing them as part of a change in administration is highly unusual.
+1 Not exactly the same but comparable to when Trump fired Comey.

Exactly.
Exactly not.
This is not normal or business as usual.
