Congratulations! CU is a great option.
Please share stats! Junior has CU at top of list and curious what merit options may be realistic. Thanks!
3.8uw, 4.6w, 1430 SATs. Mediocre ECs but good work experience. If you don’t want your kid going that far away, don’t visit. Once a teenager steps foot on that campus they will want to go. It is breathtaking. It is a bit pricey compared to the other state school he has gotten into but we will see. Grateful to have options.
If I may ask -- Did you get any merit aid? What is the net price? I have a kid who might be interested but don't want her to really like it if we can't afford it!

Former classmates went on to medical school (one at Harvard), working at the State Department in a very senior role, media industry execs, top 10 law schools. It really is the best of all worlds.
