I keep hearing that she’s funny but she just isn’t on SNL. Maybe there are too many cast members so she can’t shine? She just sounds like Kermit the Frog but has a great smile. Maybe she needs a different platform.

Whenever Kate and Aidy are there they get lots of air time. They are allowed to be off shooting other shows and movies so that’s when you don’t see them. I think Kate gets too much air time at this point.

He’s not consistently funny. What is sad is the female casts members do not get enough air time and they are funnier than him. Most of the women do not get enough air time. Kate is probably the best and still doesn’t get enough time.

Bowen Yang is hilarious. His Titanic iceberg was inspired. So was his bit as a China trade rep calling out the hypocrisy of the Trump administration trying to ban TikTok. Plus Bonjour-Hi the fantastically mindless French Canadian news show. Or playing Fran Lebowitz opposite Kyle Mooney as Scorcese? What is one note about any of this?

My opinion exactly. That iceberg sketch was one of my favorites ever. I think he's really funny.

If you listen to him on his podcast he has a very quick wit and is very intelligent. He makes quite insightful, witty observations but not in a laugh out loud way.

You would think that the requirement for a supposed comedy show would be that the comedians, POC or white, gay or straight or nonbinary are you know, funny or at least mildly amusing.


NP. I think this generation is just not very funny, period. It’s hard to be funny when you have to constantly be aware of who you might offend. And, no, I’m not a Republican.
