All the tips adults give- albeit true- won’t help her feel better.
We went through a ton of it 8th grade. What I ended up doing is using it to make sure my daughter wasn’t a “mean” girl. We coached her on relationships and how not to make others feel. It did to us exploring and monitoring her online social media life a lot more and although she wasn’t a mean girl- she was getting bit possessive of friends. But it was more an eye opener of what goes on in social media and with teens. It is Awful!
Read the book “Untangled” and “Dial down the drama”- i think those are the two- pretty helpful.

Exclusion, gaslighting, etc. I feel so bad for my DD who was just so happy to be back in-person and wants to finish her senior year without all the drama.
Is anyone else dealing with this? I'm wondering if it's pandemic related? My vague recollection was by the time we were seniors in high school this nonsense was over.
I seriously doubt it. You were either oblivious, or one of the mean girls.
It’s the norm, but less blunt.
Classic! A perfect post from a mean adult - lovely!

OP here...um, no. Serious nerd in high school. Actually, still a serious nerd. And I was pretty attuned to the mean girl dynamics throughout middle school and early high school so I'd be surprised if I suddenly became oblivious to it.
