If you are over 12 and wear the name of another man on your back, you are cuck.

Seriously? If you don't like the way that she spends her time, don't date her. People like different things and if she likes something that really bothers you, than you aren't a good fit for each other. It isn't complicated.

Another favorite (as an Indian mom of a school aged kid)! Good thing I am already married and don't have to date...

Tsk! OP is interested in things like serious entertainment, not grammar.

Flashing back to when, long before we had a kid, I'd come in from work earlier than DH and I'd sit down with a snack and watch "Wishbone" on PBS. Not animated but aimed at older elementary kids. who love to read. Adorable real dog imagines himself as characters in literature. It's a hoot, smart, funny, sweet, has a terrier wearing costumes, and I felt no shame watching it. I miss "Wishbone." Guess your DH and I are both weirdos to OP!

"What's the story, Wishbone?"

Pre-kids, I loved coming home from my STEM job and watching some PBS. When the kids came along, I knew exactly what I wanted them to see.

Many cartoons, especially on Cartoon Network, are not really completely targeting kids and are sprinkled with all kinds of adult humor. Even shows like Spongebob. I went back and watched Ren & Stimpy recently and realized had no idea how adult it was as a kid.

Disagree 100%. So many guys collect toys, play video games, watch sports all weekend, play pickup games in rec leagues - all kinds of things that could be written off as childish but are seen as completely normal for adult men. This lady watches cartoons with her tween kid and OP is judging her. GMAB.

+1 to the bold. And even if she isn't watching them with her kid, but on her own -- that's fine too.

+1
Men get a lot more leeway to indulge in "juvenile" pastimes. Watching sports or The Mandalorian or playing Call of Duty is no more mature than watching cartoons.
