You couldn't just switch to virtual all of a sudden; like, I think the computer network needs to be set up for it, kids need to have wifi, all the other stuff that had to happen beforehand. Maybe I'm wrong.
Lol. What do you think we did last year??

How does that work without enough teachers? Kids sit in auditoriums/cafeterias?

Were people charged leave on Thursday when APS closed for "snow" that was really too many people calling out? Or did they get a pass because the schools closed?Anonymous wrote:I’m a teacher. This is a silly thread. Of course we’re going on Monday. This past week was a blessing, really. I think we’ll be able to hang on now. I hope, anyway. I know so many people whose flights have been cancelled because the staff have CoVID. Why doesn’t anybody say that they don’t want to return in person? Y’all know we’re charged for leave when we’re out, right?

So your child will sit in a classroom with...who?
I heard that Syphax just got a huge shipment of Tickle Me Elmos.

Due to staffing issues? County-wide or school by school?
They will say it's staffing issues. If they do it school by school, middle school is likely to be first. They have the highest rates of kids out and teachers out; combined.
