My ex-H, an ortho surgeon specialist, makes well over $500,000 and did when he was in his early 40s. Doctors have to be more creative nowadays to make big money, but the opportunity is there if they want it.
So the upper endpoint is always going to be people who do procedures, such as surgeries, especially if you get "more creative" in doing them. That makes the lower endpoint is much lower than the average as well. That's going to be your average general practice doctor, or pediatrician, or public health doctor.
I guess they aren't creative enough, PP? Or not willing to be, maybe?
