Don’t take this the wrong way but honestly, just shut up.
No one would actually do that. If you think people would do that you've lost it
In another thread, somebody's high schooler said they're already talking about it. If a system can be gamed, it will be gamed. It's human nature going back to the beginning of time.

There’s no longer a breakdown of staff cases vs. student cases. MCPS is manipulating data points to cover up a lack of substitutes is why schools are closing. It’s not about COVID. It’s MCPS trying to cover up not hiring staff including substitutes for schools to function.
Schools have been closed for two weeks. Current MCPS cases were not due to spread in schools. It’s behavior and travel during Winter Break by staff and students.

You coming up with this bull crap?
Homeschool them, homeschool so you do not have to worry about fake tests, fake viruses. Because all the sheep want to us make beyond go virtual because no one has a job or other obligations.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:This is insane. I can’t believe parents would report fake results or withhold them.
I can't speak to faking, but they've been talking about withholding on here for months.

Is OP pro-virtual and advertising how to get the job done?
Anonymous wrote:OP, I think we can push MCPS to only close for staff shortages. If kids are testing positive in sky-high percentages, they'd be too sick to attend any kind of school, in-person or virtual. And if there aren't enough staff, close them, period. None of this virtual nonsense.

This. Student absences shouldn't count. We are a super covid conservative family, and I shouldn't have to pay for the fact that your child decided to attend a NYE party. Only the staff positives should count for closing the school. The covid positive kids can figure out school for 14 days asynchronously.
You aren't super covid conservative if your kids are in person school. Yes, if a child is sick and don't submit a negative test, it absolutely should be counted. People like you will just hide symptoms.

Perhaps the parents who fake positive tests will balance those who really do have positive tests but don't report them.
And herein lies the rationalization of the hysterical parents insisting we lock down schools for "safety" even as they go about their shopping, eating out, and entertainment.
This thread demonstrates exactly why this is a community problem, not an MCPS problem.
