Yes Hogan. Let people determine for themselves. No tyrant.

Healthcare workers don't want your thanks, Hogan! Saying thanks and refusing to enforce any kind of meaningful restriction is like a slap in the face. It's incredibly offensive.
They want closures so they can actually provide care, instead of messing up through sheer exhaustion and killing patients.

That would help drive home to the people who are out partying how serious this is. We also need a temporary resumption of some emergency benefits

Increase distribution of monoclonal antibodies
Expedite approval of more rapid tests and increase production/distribution
Expedite production/allocation of COVID antiviral pills
Governor Hogan said, “It’s important for Marylanders to go back to using common sense and doing the things that will keep us safe: avoiding crowds, keeping your distance, washing your hands, and yes—once again—wearing the damn masks.”
He's punting to Biden and not enforcing the actual damn mask-wearing, or any other useful safety measure.
We need only one metric: hospitalizations are the highest they've ever been, and Hogan is out to lunch.
He is NOT going to become Senator with that record.

SO far:
Over next few weeks, MD could see 5,000 hospitalizations. He declared 30 day emergency.
1,000 Maryland National Guard members are being mobilized to assist with opening 20 new testing sites outside Maryland hospitals in order to meet rising demand for testing and to divert people away from visiting emergency rooms for COVID tests.
Calls on Biden to increase access to monoclonal antibodies.
Expresses gratitude to healthcare workers and moves to the general to talk about National Guard.
FYI, the emergency declaration PROTECTS HOSPITALS FROM BEING SUED FOR ADVERSE OUTCOMES, because they are operating at catastrophic standards. This was a request from hospitals themselves, who know they cannot provide adequate care. This affects you and me if we get into a car accident on icy roads, for example, or have a heart attack or stroke.
Hogan refuses to put in place measures that could reduce the number of people flooding hospitals, and this is one of the consequences.
He is acting extremely irresponsibly.

lol and very quiet about the state of schools....
Right? If these are going to be the worst weeks bc it’s much more contagious- how does lunch happen safely? Spaced out indoor lunch with omicron doesn’t mitigate risk.
