I have pretty fancy parties with good food- but the puffed Cheetos and pigs in a blanket are the absolute first to go. It’s wild how everyone wants those and not fancier food.

I bought pimento cheese at Trader Joe’s yesterday bc we have so much left over ham, I wanted pimento and ham sandwiches. That is def something I never bought before and was so excited about when others had it…but guys, imma buy it now.

Yep. I always serve ruffles and hellava good onion dip at parties and people suck it up! In winter we serve the queso dip mentioned upthread and that goes quick too.
For me I am delighted when I stumble on utz cheese puffs.

My DH brings Ruffles and green onion sour cream dip to every BYO social event. It gets completely, totally finished every. single. time. People may wax poetic about gourmet hors d'oeuvres and crudités, but their eating habits don’t lie.
