With snow in the forecast in Richmond Sat/Sun....you might want to prep your car for sitting on I-95 for a day.

These are not possibilities for out of town teams in a Richmond tournament. Never seen it, never will. I think some people just want to know whether they can drive down on Saturday and how soon they might be able to leave on Sunday. Most families I know even with multiple kids assume games at any time on Saturday and Sunday and plan accordingly.

For soccer/futsal tournaments I just always awesome Saturday is a wash and Sunday, at least half day. Doesn’t deviate that much.

That's a link put out by the national league, which has no organizing responsibilities for the Richmond tournament. This is the actual site, where suppose a schedule will eventually show up.

Our team made the difficult decision tonight to withdraw from this tournament. We were told several times that the schedule would be forthcoming. The parents decided they just couldn't wait any longer to make travel plans. This is how you lose a tournament for the future.

Ridiculous that we're 5 days before the tournament starts and not a semblance of a schedule. Yes, we get that most of our weekend is going to this tournament. But, families do have other children and commitments. A schedule over a week in advance isn't asking for a whole lot.

Yeah, we've decided that we will only attend the games that work with our other obligations at this point, and the team will have to manage without our kid for the rest. Can't tie everyone's schedule up endlessly for a tournament that refuses to announce when the games are.

Drama Queens. Registration for this tournament just closed on the 6th, you wanted them to publish a schedule the day registration closed ?

Nice try. Registration closed January 1st. So, yes, a week is long enough to put the pieces together.

The website literally says Deadline=Jan 6th. Maybe that changed with all the Covid issues but that’s what it says now. My kid has played in many soccer tournaments where we didn’t know the schedule until Wednesday or Thursday the week of. It does suck but it’s not unusual

Don't you have an online QAnon convention to be attending? Maybe January 6th is just stuck in your head because it's not on the website. And, you fighting with people who simply think things can be done better is pathetic at best.

How exactly is only going to what works for us drama? To me, tying up the schedules of my two other kids that do not play futsal this far out for games that may or may not happen at those times seems unfair. If you only have one kid, or are comfortable holding the schedules of your non-futsal playing kids hostage, you do you.

Not making the sausage..just buying it. Most parents want to know when they are traveling the following weekend before the work week starts. Sorry, not all of us are watching Tucker Carlson and sitting behind keyboards Monday to Friday acting like we're tough.
