Get over the Hallmark, Rom Com stuff in your head. You have different views /timelines about sex and exclusivity, so he didn’t bring it up. It was important to you, so you did. He agreed with your concern.
No need to make drama where there is none.
+1 I mean seriously, are you now really upset that his tone was not what you had pictured in your head? GMAFB. I genuinely hope you are not this f*ing crazy in real life and that it just came across poorly in your post here. Because if you're really like this, get ready for a long life time of disappointments due to unreasonable expectations that no one can meet.
She’s not crazy. I completely understand wanting someone you’re enthusiastic about to be just as enthusiastic about you; his response was lackluster. It seemed more… like an agreement than this actually being something that he wants. Maybe he’s not overly romantic? Maybe he’s not that into OP? Who knows, but I can understand her uneasiness about the situation. She can either move on or date him with healthy skepticism (as one always should when getting to know someone) and see how things pan out.

You should probably follow up on this conversation with him and see if you're bf/gf or what.
Bingo!
