I worked in food service since I was a teen and freezing meet is incredibly common.
Say I bought a package of ground beef that I didn’t end up using. I’d just throw the package in the freezer. Maybe it needs to be wrapped differently.
I put all meat in ziplocs and push out the air before freezing. Store plastic wrap won't prevent freezer burn.
