I love Goldbelly - especially Chicago pizza or Gramercy Tavern cheeseburgers (they come out *amazingly* well at home).

Tamales from Texas. This is my Christmas present from my sister every year and they arrive on dry ice ready to be doled out sparingly over the coming year.
No shade to anyone who loves Central American tamales but I do not want any plantain leaves, olives, or, for the love of God, raisins involved in my tamales. And I do not have a connect for good Mexican tamales in DC.

I've been really disappointed by Zingerman's. The catalog makes everything sound so good, but the baked goods are mediocre.
The things I've ordered through Goldbelly have been good - Panbury's hand pies, Magnolia Bakery banana pudding, etc.

Please no! I'm a Michigander. Zingerman's bakery/restaurant is lovely and delicious. But their mail order baskets are super terrible. It takes like grocery store quality packaged goods and semi stale.

Can you give us more details? Who are you giving the gifts to? Younger Sis? Cousin? Old friend? Do youn know them well or are they acquaintances?
Gifts to off site, never met in person, group of “paralegals” (several are not actual paralegals but similar type work)
If you give the geographic area, we can be more helpful.
