Sour grapes is not a public health strategy.

Folks that are mission critical and need to be in secure location can't get read on a timely manner because the folks that are supporting this transition are working from home.

Make sure everything is ready, equipment is there and plan for employee return. We’ve had a lot of turn over and I have new employees who have never been in the office/ don’t have cubicles.

I’m very cautious, but if you need to get back there may never be a good time.

My agency is saying Feb/March for most of us but no further details, somehow we still haven't received the updated telework/flex policy yet.

I am definitely ready to go back in some capacity, but I am worried about the ongoing issues with Metro and hope that's back to normal-ish by the time I have to return. The morning routine with dropping off the kids + commute was already a delicate dance of timing.

I haven't heard anything. The boss of my office is pushing for fully remote, so we'll see what happens.

Everyone over 5 is vaccinated and as parents who demanded schools re-open insist - Covid doesn't effect kids of any age.

MSPB has been back 1 day a week. This means you could be on a zoom call with your coworkers. It makes zero sense. Covid cases are being announced every week.


Bit misleading. Two cases were announced and no indication they were related. Some offices have had staff coming in more than once a week since June 2020.

Wasn't MSPB three days a week telework even before COVID? It was when I used to be there, years ago.

Hopefully they get the kinks out before we return. My office isn't THAT bad on technology, but 2 years ago we held all meetings over the phone. Each of our regional offices would pile into a conference room and we'd all talk on the phone to each other. Currently we're all video conferencing. I'm not sure I can go back to phone conferences anymore. They're annoying and don't pick up speakers well. Alas, there's no video cameras in the office.

I'm excited to go back and sort of scared. I wish it was "phased" a bit more gently. Like the first month is half the time in the office, then full time after.
