2 slices/person? Could you be anymore stingy? Do you not have teenagers? Or kids?

Seriously. We clean out 2 large for 3 people.

You need 5 pizzas OP

Wait my math was off. At 0.67 large pizzas per person, it's 8-9 pizzas

Not with the 4 little kids and 1 adult who is eating 1 piece.

Wow. My teen son (athlete) rarely has a second slice.

He does not like pizza or is a gymnast.. You have to know 1 slice of pizza is more like a snack for most teens.

I'm with PP, we are a family of 4 and have leftovers from one xLarge; but I know we are the exception and intentionally over-order when we have guests. If we have leftovers though, we eat pizza for a week until we finally throw it away in disgust.

I’d go with 5 minimum.

Just saying that everyone is making fun of me - but my two slices per per person and then rounding up to the full pie - is 5 pizzas here LOL.

No..you are recommending 26 slices. 8 slices per pie. just over 3 pies.

Oh HA! OK - so I am recommending 4 - thanks for correcting my math.

But anyway I am not annoyed or anything - you're just making me feel like that one poster who said 1 piece per person. Does anyone remember that? It was years ago I think.

Yes. You filled up on green beans so anything more than 1 slice would be too much.

Thank you all! And to the poster whom everyone jumped on, yes I did understand that your “two and then round up” added up to 5!

I wouldn't worry at all about over-ordering - my teen seems to eat all the time (afternoon snack, dinner and then before bed snack) so I think the teens will eat the leftovers, and leftover pizza is also a good lunch for kids.

6 large and salad - you may have leftovers - not a bad way to deal with houseguests and lunch

If you are having wings and salad, I’d say 4. If no wings, 5. Maybe just get 5 to be on the safe side. Pizza reheats beautifully, especially if you use a cast iron pan, and it’s a good teen snack.

Adults 2-3slices each. Teens 1/2-1 pizza each. Kids depends on ages. I’d probably get 8.

I'm the PP who said 6 and I will amend that to 5 if the kids are toddlers to lower ES. If 8-12 range, definitely 6.
