My neighbor makes this every year and brings me a dish. I do look forward to it! It never gets stale and is a nice change from the constant cookie onslaught


I make chocolate covered toffee for the same reason. We top with peppermint, pretzels or nuts (not together)

My grandmother used to make these bars that had a crust, melted chocolate and then crushed wlanuts on top. I loved them but never got the recipe.

I make soft ginger cookies and Mexican wedding cookies. I like the old fashioned kinds.
