1. In what?
2. Where is the proof for the claim (just curious) Her bio sheet says undeclared
She’s a soccer stud. No question about it. But she’s from Texas. None of us know her. Playing three years at UVA doesn’t make her a Hometown hero.
She has the pedigree to do well in the NWSL providing she stays healthy and doesn’t get frustrated at that level.
Leaving behind college to make money is fine as long as you got the degree. So hopefully she did
This thread has taken such a weird turn. As a PP mentioned, if she doesn’t have her UVA degree, she can get it later. Many pros go this route. Not sure why it matters to anyone what her degree is in.
Also, she may be from Texas, but she’s attended UVA for three years. It’s entirely possible that she’s friends with posters’ kids. And why would she need to be a hometown hero for us to take an interest? I follow Catarina Marcario’s career despite never having met her because I loved watching her play for Stanford. She’s someone who also left college early, and now she’s playing for the USWNT and Lyon, living the dream. I wish more people were rooting for these women instead of criticizing them and being patronizing about their life choices.
