Most things in my laundry are socks, underwear and t-shirts. I don't have a fancy job.
I have about 3 pairs of underwear, 10 bras, 20 pairs of socks and 40 t-shirts. Can easily do laundry only once a month. I don't sweat even when I work out.

We have one of those rolling hamper things with 3 compartments - his, mine and dry cleaning.
I think the secret is that I rewear things. For example, jeans get worn several times before washing unless they are stained. Bras (I have like 15) are worn, set out to air out, and then washed monthly. T shirts and tops are worn once before washing. Sweaters are worn several times - I wear a t shirt underneath to hold sweat and odor. Socks and panties obviously worn once too. Work dresses work 2-3 times before being dry cleaned.
HTH!

Multiple loads become a sorting disaster and harder to put away. I remember when I was a kid my mom would sit me in front of like 8 loads of laundry and make me fold it all. It was hell.
i agree! i hate my life if that laundry gets piled up. when the kids were little i could have a literal mountain of laundry! now i only have enough for a few loads a week which i can do all in one day.

I guess not everyone gets as smelly and sweaty as you. I certainly do not have that issue. I wash my clothes monthly. DH does his own laundry. The kids laundry is done weekly as are the sheets and towels. The housekeeper washes the bed and bath linens.
Unless you're in a vegetated state, never going outside, I assure you that you definitely have that issue and people can tell. If you go outside, your clothes pick up stink and dirt. And your clothes accumulate oils whether or not you exercise and sweat (which is a good thing, not sure why you associate sweating as a negative).
Washing your clothes once a month is like taking a shower once a week. It's nasty. You've just become accustomed to your own stink.
I don’t think you understand. I don’t wear an outfit more than twice. I just have enough that I don’t need to do laundry more than once a month.
Right, but you're letting dirty clothes sit and marinate in their stink for a month? That smell travels in your house, and isn't completely something you can get rid of. Especially underwear. It's gross pp, do your laundry once a week at minimum.

Laundry is an easy chore, and takes only a few minutes to throw things in the washer, advance them to the dryer, and then fold them.
