We started with 5 minutes and built up to an hour and a half over the course of six months.

3.5 DD was staying awake until 10pm with a nap. If she wasn’t in daycare we would have stoped the nap right after 3. She went 3 days s week tho a d that made them nap. It’s actually the reason we pulled her out of daycare. Started a 7pm bedtime which was lovely.

DS stopped his midday nap around 2.5. Now 3, he rarely naps (except sometimes on long car rides), but he does play in his room for a few hours for "quiet time." I think it is the same at his preschool--he doesn't nap, but reads or plays on his cot quietly while the other kids are sleeping.
