True but that's because we are mostly upper income folks who either stay at home or who have desk jobs. Access to good health care, and not doing back breaking work for decades, make all the difference in the world.

I am sensitive to all kinds of lotions and creams and so haven’t used sunscreen or moisturizer as much as I should and it shows in my skin. My hair is thick and curly but now all gray - it’s actually rather lovely, but it does age me. So there you go - I’m the one and only woman on DCUM who looks older than she is.

Anonymous wrote:I’m 38. It depends on:
1. Whether or not I’m wearing my mask (naso labial folds ftw)
2. How well I have applied my under eye concealer and inner corner highlight
3. What I’m wearing. When I’m in jeans and vans and a tshirt I look youngest. Next is athletic wear. Oldest is a dressier outfit but it’s rare that I wear that.
4. Whether or not I have really interacted with somebody. I have a pretty immature manner when I’m talking to somebody. My husband says I act flirty and ditzy. My daughter (12) says she and her friends can’t believe I am almost 40. I would like to act more mature but I really don’t know how.
I would say I can go anywhere from late twenties to early forties.

Now I am 52. I look 52.
Enjoy those 40s, ladies.
This. Time comes for everyone.
I believe this. Still in 30s and this is my worry!!
