DP. This describes everyone I know and none of them look younger than their age. But perhaps I am biased as the entire pool of comparison is white collar UMC types and not day laborers or whoever some of you are comparing yourselves to in order to conclude you look 10 years younger.

51 and look my age, or at best late 40s. Right until about 50 I still looked great and youthful. Boy can things change quickly. Some of it is that I definitely let covid stress get to me, and stopped taking care of myself in terms of exercise and diet. But mostly, yeah, just good old middle age.

Unless you are brown, black or had plastic surgery you don’t look 10 years younger no matter how much money you have. You may look good and healthy but not younger.

49. I probably look at least every minute of that. The people I know who look young at this age have kids in elementary school. I have a 20 year old and a 24 year old. I've seen some things lol.

I have exactly one friend who looks significantly younger than her age, and my friends all take care of themselves and do the usual maintenance in terms of things like highlights, light Botox, that sort of thing (we're late 30s / early 40s for the most part). I think when people think of what those ages "should" look like they are picturing norms from the past.

50 and look 50. Up until 48 I could probably pass for early 40s. These bags showed up under my eyes and they are aging me. I always look tired even though my skin looks decent. I never really thought much about them until Zoom. Sigh...

All this. Plus selection bias - the people responding who look younger are more willing to say so. Sort of like all the people with big HHIs and high net worths on the Money and Finance board.

If you're interested, I've heard good things about Cerave AM moisturizer with SPF 30. Cerave is generally good for sensitive skin. I use Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer with SPF 30 and it doesn't irritate my skin (also doesn't burn my eyes when I use on my eyelids).

Wait actually about six months ago I was accused of having a fake ID when at the grocery store with my daughter. The cashier thought I was her big sister. So I guess for people who are terrible judges of age, I can go for 20.

1. Whether or not I’m wearing my mask (naso labial folds ftw)

Exactly me. I was carded up until early 40s. Now at 53 I could look like a youngish grandma. I am thinking ND teeth are fine. But I don't color my grays. I just look 53.
