When my son was 14 months I nursed him 4 times per day. Once at wake up, once before each nap, and once at bedtime. At 15 months I cut his nap feedings out and got him down to 2x per day. At 16 months I fully weaned him.
Nursing on demand would be when the 14 month olds asks to nurse. My baby signs “milk” and calls for me if I’m not in the room or crawls over to me and signs “milk.
Idk, my 14 month old has terrible separation anxiety so if you wfh I wonder if this is just how she has learned to get to be with you.
I don’t think so. She doesn’t seem to have any separation anxiety. She signs to nurse during the weekends at the same rate as she does during the week. She also asks for her nanny and signs to go outside with nanny and happily says bye-bye to me. She can see me when I’m workin too (open office just around the corner from living room) so she knows I’m there.
So how many times a day are you nursing?
Roughly 8 to 10 times. Only two true sessions - the rest just a few minutes.
Wow.
That is wild. They don't even need to be drinking milk at that age. What is wrong with you OP?
Oh stop it you witch. She has a booby baby. Not your problem.
You are defensive because you know I am right. This is weird and not normal.

Yes, she drinks water all day. When she asks to nurse our nanny offers he water and food and she says, “no wa wa. Mama!” And signs milk. When she’s with me she does the same.
