This. And I met someone yesterday who knows him personally and professionally. He had nothing good to say about Youngkin. Thinks he will be a disaster.
Sure you did.
Just making a wild guess here, but is the friend a Democrat

What sort of complaints about him did he have?
I am not lying about this. The person I spoke with is in the PE world and their kids were on several sports teams together. The complaints were that He is arrogant and has no concept of how government really works.
Oooh, tell us more fiction! Wait, let me get some hot chocolate and popcorn.
Look, I live in DC, I have no dog in this fight, just passing along info.
Sure, sure. And here you are, trolling a thread about the VA governor. Run along.
Maybe they're lying, maybe not. But Glenn's kids went to St.Albans and Georgetown Prep. Borders are porous when they are only a dozen or private schools who all play each other in rival games in this area. Not to mention the fact that the Carlyle Group headquarters are two blocks from the White House.
Glenn is a native Virginian but probably spent most of his last 30 years inside the D.C. border.

He won't be able to fulfill most of his promises.
Anonymous wrote:No. I voted for him, but who gets excited about a governor?
I want a government that does as little as possible. I’m not in it to “own the libs” (or gleefully post on DCUM that I’m “excited” our empty suit very narrowly beat their empty suit).

Anonymous wrote:Not at all. His rhetoric about CRT and school curriculum told me that he's a liar as well as clueless, but will exploit the cultural divide in this state.
1. CRT is not being taught, never has been.
2. He has zero role over curriculum, let alone books, despite his saying that he does. He doesn't. Everyone knows that.
3. Parents are not expected to write curriculum. Nor are they able to ban books.
4. He ran on this false gasoline to entice the right wing crowd. Why, after all the progress Virginia made, would women vote this opportunist in?
