The people leading the groups against the school board of some of the most misogynistic, woman hating people you will find. I am intentionally repeating myself.
Go look up what you can about them and read what they put out there on social media.

2) I'm a government employee and we get threats all the time. It's very common, although it shouldn't be. I've been threatened, had bad fortune wished upon my kids, been told by someone that they hope I get cancer and die, and been called all sorts of abusive, sexist and derogatory names. Public school board members aren't the only public employees/officials who receive these types of threats.
