Not knowing how to drive and not having a car is not cool for teens anywhere. My kids have cars. They take Uber when it makes more sense.
I’m not sure what the cool kids drive, OP. My kids aren’t strivers. My youngest drives a Jeep Ranger.
You mean Ford Ranger? Do you live on a farm?

Because Jeep is not the right choice for personal safety or for climate change mitigation. They can choose not to worry about the price of a subpar vehicle with high maintenance costs, but if they were SMART, they wouldn't be driving a Jeep.
Modern jeeps (JK/JL) are safe and reliable. More important, unlike you, they are FUN!
They have terrible safety ratings and reliability compared to just about every alternative
Some of the Jeeps have good safety ratings. The Wranglers do not. They are ranked very poorly for safety.

Audis and Jeeps.
Which is the same it was 25 years ago when I think about it, only we didn't have the Audi SUVs back then.
No one drives and Audi anymore.
I see a fair few at the private schools around where I live. For what's it's worth.
