Some of the Jeeps have good safety ratings. The Wranglers do not. They are ranked very poorly for safety.
No, they aren't poorly rated anymore. And, the safety ratings were for the base model, not a fully loaded one with all the safety features.

The new JL's have pretty decent safety ratings. And, that doesn't include things like adding steel bumpers. They do pretty well in many real life crashes.

Which is the same it was 25 years ago when I think about it, only we didn't have the Audi SUVs back then.
No one drives and Audi anymore.
I see a fair few at the private schools around where I live. For what's it's worth.
Our private school garage has a ton of Q3s and Q5s.
