We have each other's passwords and use each other's phones at times (and we both leave our phones lying around unguarded all the time), BUT we both believe in each other's right to privacy. I should be allowed to say things to my friends that he doesn't necessarily need to read and I feel the same about him.
So while I have texts or emails I don't want him to see, I would still leave him with my phone because (a) nothing is that bad and (b) I don't think he'd even look.
