I'd rather do it over dinner, not text. I can see how it could be fun but I would want some interesting questions that may lead to back and forth conversation. I think that would be better to get to know someone and more fun.

I’ve played with someone and it wasn’t philosophical. He asked me really funny questions like “would you rather” xyz. “Would you rather lose your left arm or right leg?”. It was actually really fun.

PP, it just sounds like…you’re not that fun? As others have said it’s a compatibility issue.

Yes, I (not OP) am old. But that is how I feel. So, this person would not be right for me. but I think she likes you, and she sounds cute. But, again, let her find someone who would like to kill an hour sending 20+ texts.

Can't say I would find it amusing but it may indicate different styles. I get bored of text after the fourth or fifth text, I couldn't care less if people find that boring.
