This sounds like anyone. You have perhaps gone so mainstream that you seem like a poorly drawn character. I’d try being more personal and specific: literature but Nordic noir, not cultural outings but Bach chorales, not the outdoors but biking the crescent trail?

I bet your photos are NOT good. I made a profile set to make seeking female and screen shotted the first ten profiles fed to me. She was shocked when I sent them to her: professional-looking makeup and hair, professional-looking photos, lovely carefully-planned outfits.

NP guy: maybe you’re over compensating on trying to be mainstream ? Clearly you need some input on the profile and pics. How about changing it up a bit every so often to see what ‘works ‘. But as someone else said you just need the ‘right one ‘

My guess is people respond to profiles that pop
Guys respond positively to photos that pop, and negatively to certain things the woman may write: politics, religion, etc. Do the one and don’t do the other.

Not at all! Says my profession and interests. I am actually pretty quirky but tried to keep it mainstream not edgy. One of the questions was “who pays on the first date?” I wanted to answer “the 1%, of course” but deleted that prompt instead : ).
Why delete the prompt or keep your profile mainstream? My guess is people respond to profiles that pop, and your "1% response" shows a bit of personality and edge, which is almost necessary when looking at a flat screen. Not too many ways to show your third dimension if the profile is staid. Everyone likes art, the outdoors, travel, yadda yadda. Keep it interesting!
