They are packaged in plastic clamshell containers in the bakery section, usually 4/6 per batch. They look dark for choc. chip cookies, but are nice and soft.

Meh - they are a Baltimore specialty. Its a cakey sugar cookie topped with an overly sweet and waxy chocolate fudge sort of topping. I find them terribly bland. Spouse grew up with them and goes nuts for them.

I'm not a big fan of most store-bought cookies, but the crispy Tate's chocolate chip cookies aren't terrible.
