I thought this was going to be one of this absurd posts about how it’s unfair to bring kids into the world unless they can have private school and their own pony, but it’s even worse.
At least there is an excellent solution to OP’s problem: a vasectomy.
That's probably unnecessary. I am guessing that there's no need for extreme measures - OP's "problem" will solve itself.

I agree. Unless you’re extremely high energy and/or have really chill jobs, it’s draining to be on your own with 2 young kids. If I couldn’t afford a great nanny and didn’t have my parents nearby, I would have quit to SAH or just dropped at one.

OP, parenting is like any other thing in life that you start without really knowing how it will end up.
Starting a new job, relocating to a new city or country, getting married, the list goes on.
If you don't think the risks are worth it, just don't do it. Ignore the people who tell you you're missing out on life.

You can’t be that Bally being childfree if you hang out here.
I love spending time with my kid and I definitely do not clamor to do solo errands so I can have a “break”. Actually due to work schedules I spend all weekend one on one with my kid. We have a blast! Set out in the morning with some waters and snacks, hit up a few playgrounds, go to Starbucks, run a few errands. Or we make it an adventure day and head into dc. It’s pretty fabulous.

We have 5 kids and comfortable middle class. No vacations, small house, used car. I definitely feel stressed sometimes but so do all my friends with 1 or 2 kids. I usually take an older kid to help with shopping and get quality time
