This board defines DC crazy peeps bigger world than Ivy, UVA and UNC. Again look at US News and World Report on top 25 schools and go from there. There are some incredible Division 3 schools. Also look at programs and success UVA women’s program has been on a downtrend for years. UNC look at how many transfers. You go where you can play as well and look at schools and what they offer. Try not to be so snobbish when looking at schools. If you speak to top business programs where do they hire from? Again again again it isn’t just division 1 point of going to college is to get a job.

Yes, if you are only considering state schools.

These 2 schools are extremely selective especially for OOS. They also provide tremendous resources for athletes that players at the Ivys don’t get. Any student-athlete would be very lucky to attend either.

No way. Bucknell’s acceptance rate is in the 30s. Not a top tier academic school.

FFS. Now we are saying that a school with an acceptance rate in the 30s isn't a good academic school? FFS.

It’s a good academic school but not top tier. This thread is about top tier academics and lax. Bucknell has neither. It’s a good school but not one if the BEST (see thread title). UNC and UVA don’t really belong here academically either TBH. Navy does but their lax isn’t top tier.

Down year last year but a top 20 lax program

Guess depends on if you talkin boys or girls.

Just look at top schools in country - top 25 and then see which ones offer division 1 lacrosse. Not that hard

And they are too snobby to mention Navy with the lowest acceptance rate.
