For the 50 times. They have made a play and were turned down. They don’t have the quality unless poaching from neighboring ECNL clubs. They are blocked due to over saturation and proximity to other clubs. They will not get ECNL. They will not get BRYC spot if they lose it. They will just drop the spot all together.

FCV players that are unhappy with GA can move and join any ECNL club. If you are a good player then take the challenge and show your talent. You can go to a club that is crowded and that may make it easy for you to go to playoffs but you may get frustrated with playing time. Or you can join a team and club where you can explode your talent.

I agree with this. I don't see why FCV should want to leave GA where they are at the top of the heap and doing quite well (as measured by college commits which is the measure, right?). As long as they can stay at the top of GA, compete in GA national tournaments, play in the GA champions league, give players good exposure, then this is a better scenario for them than to be just another middling ECNL club in the mid Atlantic.

Arlington we’re a top 15 GA club.

Lower mid pack in the ECNL MA. I bet those players are happy to be challenged every week though.
Players have to be challenged.

I hear Arlington parents regretting the change.

Nope. I mean, maybe some of us, but those are probably the parents of the players who can’t keep up against the better competition in ECNL. This first year was always going to be a tough year. I think Arlington will get better over time and overall rise in the rankings - player pool is there. Now, the oldest teams, that’s where the sadness is because they’re not doing as well as the younger and those girls/parents are used to winning. Much drama.

Why does a small girls-only club in an irrelevant league still get so much attention in this forum? It's incredibly annoying to those of us not in Loudoun or VA or with boys! Can we make it stop

The Girls Academy is not irrelevant, they are empowering and focused on the freedoms of member clubs while working cooperatively with all stakeholders, from club directors to the players themselves. Everything about ECNL is about Club and NOTHING about ECNL, is focused on freedom.. they demand loyalty, fealty, and compliance from coaches and players. It's an incredibly ff'ed'up mindset that has plagued elite, travel, and professional soccer for decades. The leadership of the GA league is incredible and a total threat to ECNL . . not just in NOVA but across the USA. At some point, the players who are skilled, athletic, and love what they do will be the ones coaches recruit. Not sure that is the type of player ECNL is churning out

Does this sound like a parent, unaffiliated person or someone that runs the FCV Twitter and website?

You are a fool. Listen to me. I am 100 % a parent. I live in DC.

You meant to say Frederick.

What does that mean? What’s the inside joke?

Best fiction I've read in years. Thanks for that. Truly.

Not fiction, just actual perspective. I am sorry if that feels threatening to whatever power trip you have but it's so true.

Ramblings of a lunatic. Is that why you have to spend every night spewing bs on this forum. I can smell the desperation from here.

For what? More wild speculation that FCV will get into ECNL? Or ECNL will drop BRYC? Or dogs running onto fields?

The U13 FCV girls team is awful- worst in the Mid Atlantic region, the U15 team is mediocre. Once the 04 and 05 teams are done, the club will be done. They aren't what Bobby sells them as, regardless of how many times he tweets that they are.
