I think they’re having staffing issues. Artificially high prices mean fewer guests - until they can staff up fewer guests is better for them though. They can afford to wait it out.

Not really my point.

But, residence inn isn’t even on the beach and is full of groups trying to cram 20 people into one room. Those rooms would $110-190/night anywhere else.

For the money you could fly to Miami and stay at much nicer place for less money all in. Because there is more supply of nicer places in Miami.

What holiday is Sept 22? It's 1400 a night right now. For nothing but outdated rooms. We also have a high income but would rather spend our $ where there is something to do, nice attractions and superb food. Salamander needs a chef in a hurry. It does not live up to our resort standards.

What holiday is Sept 22? It's 1400 a night right now. For nothing but outdated rooms. We also have a high income but would rather spend our $ where there is something to do, nice attractions and superb food. Salamander needs a chef in a hurry. It does not live up to our resort standards.

Plus one. They have room service too. I would pocket that extra $500 to $1200 and then treat myself out to dinner for a week. I’m not sure into spas though.

Ummm no. Maybe tired mom who needed a break.

We have a seven figure income so $700 for a night doesn’t break the bank. Spa, room service and good sleep was worth it for me. I actually liked it so much I went twice. I understand this may not be worth it for a lot of people.

I tried to plan one of these. Between check in and check out it was going to be an extremely short and expensive trip.
